Common cold

Pneumonia

At times, pneumonia can be treated at home. However, in older adults with some underlying health condition, the issue can become quite serious. It might have to be treated with intravenous antibiotics at the hospital.

Bronchitis

It causes inflammation and swelling of the bronchial tubes. They are the passageways through which air flows via the nose and mouth to the lungs.

You can be affected by two types of bronchitis, acute and chronic bronchitis. Acute one is caused by virus, whereas chronic is caused by smoking.
